Travelling Information
How fit do I have to be for 4WD tours? Exploring some attractions may require walking, with the maximum walk 1hour often over rocky or sloping surfaces. The affect of the warm climate also needs to be remembered. Whilst we are completely flexible as to what you participate in on tour, we encourage you to be fit enough to make the most of your experience. Your driver guide will be keeping an eye out for you and will advise you if it is felt a particular activity was unsafe for you. For the safety of all passengers, we do reserve the right to refrain passengers from some activities.
How much luggage can I bring on tour? For manageability and due to limited space aboard vehicles, we prefer you use a backpack or soft bag not exceeding 15kg in weight plus a small day-pack for you to carry inside the vehicle cabin your camera, bathers etc for each days adventures.
What should I pack? Visit our '
Common Questions' section for a what to pack list. We suggest you include the following essential items in your luggage; non-slip walking shoes (joggers will do), sun screen, hat, beach towel, swimmers, torch, camera and a small water container to carry.
