Travel Insurance - can Pinnacle Tours arrange travel insurance?
As we are licensed travel agent we can arrange travel insurance in some circumstances:
For people already in Australia - yes, we can arrange a policy for you, approximate costs are $30AUD per person depending on what cover you want. Ask one of our consultants when you book.
For people not already in Australia coming from overseas - Due to very strict travel insurance laws in Australia, we would be unable to offer any insurance prior to your arrival in Australia. You have two options:
To visit a travel agent in your home country before you leave and take out insurance, this way you are fully covered from the time you pay for your tours so if you have an illness or death in the family or something similar prior to leaving then you are covered for any cancellation fees.
To visit our office upon arrival in to Perth and then our consultants in Perth can assist you with purchasing some insurance. This is perhaps not the preferred option as you will not be covered until you arrive which means any problems before you leave are not covered.
Do you have special children and concession rates?
