Australian Pinnacle Tours is a Western Australian family owned and operated business. Founded in 1979 by Bob and Marilyn Readhead, the business started with a single 19 seater coaster van operating a "nature tour" to Western Australia's most famous icon the Pinnacles Desert.
Today after 28 years experience and plenty of hard work, the organisation has grown into a 24 hour a day operation with a fleet of specially designed touring vehicles, a great team of staff running tours all over the state and offices in both Perth and Broome.
Australian Pinnacle Tours is a five time winner of the Western Australian Tourism Awards and strives to stay at the cutting edge of best practice, technology and quality. Our passengers are asked to complete survey's and with this feedback our tours are continually improved.

History of Australian Pinnacle Tours
Our company founders Bob and Marilyn Readhead are country folk with a passion for the rugged natural beauty of Western Australia. Their life together began in the outback of Western Australia grazing sheep on a remote pastoral property.
In the mid '70's they moved, with their family of four children to Perth and entered the tourism industry in 1979. Within two years, Bob and Marilyn received the first, followed by many tourism awards. In 2001, the Western Australian Government recognised their significant contribution to the tourism industry and presented Bob and Marilyn with the 'Legends of Tourism' award.
Whilst they have handed on the Managing Director roles to family members they still play a pivotal role in the day to day operations, the company direction and quality control.
Managing Directors, Ian & Susan Dawson (Bob & Marilyn Readhead's eldest daughter & son in law) have steered the business over the last decade.
